Step by step instructions
- Use one hand to fix the celery to the cutting board, and with the knife in your other hand, cut off the root end.
- Peel the celery stick with the vegetable peeler.
- Using a small paring knife, pull the strings out of the celery by placing the knife on the top and gently easing the tough strings up and back.
- Then, place the celery sticks curved side up on the board and cut into slices of about 3mm / 0.12inch.
