Step by step instructions

  1. Snap the claws off the cooked crab and lay to one side.
  2. Break open the breast and use the fin shears to cut open the hard shell on the side to cut out the needle-shaped meat. The innards can also be cooked.
  3. Using an oyster opener, carefully scrape out the crab meat. Repeat until all meat has been removed from the breast.
  4. Snap off the claw joints and hitting the hard shell with the spine of the knife, crack open the claws. Then, remove the meat from the claws.
