Step by step instructions
- Snap the claws off the cooked crab and lay to
one side.
- Break open the breast and use the fin shears
to cut open the hard shell on the side to cut out
the needle-shaped meat. The innards can also be
cooked.
- Using an oyster opener, carefully scrape out
the crab meat. Repeat until all meat has been
removed from the breast.
- Snap off the claw joints and hitting the hard
shell with the spine of the knife, crack open the
claws. Then, remove the meat from the claws.
